RICK & WENDY TRAVEL THE GLOBE

Countries Visited by Walleighs: 55 total        51 Wendy*        42 Rick*

With 4 international trips from Sept. 2010 through Sept. 2011--most recently Ecuador and the Galapagos--we are glad just to have had time
to review our pictures and be home for a few weeks in a row. Our other recent wanderings were: New Zealand and
Australia in Jan. 2011;
Fall 2010 Turkey, Greece and the Greek Islands and then Tulum, Mexico for our niece's wedding. Connect with these and our other international adventures
in 2009 and prior when we traveled in Africa (for TechnoServe and for fun).  Read our impressions on our Blog 2011 and Blog 2010.

From August 16 to September 6, we traveled to the flabbergasting Galapagos and enchanting Ecuador,
a very ecologically, geographically and biologically diverse country.

January 1 - 29, 2011 took us Down Under for the 1st time to New Zealand's wild landscapes
and
Australia's golden beaches.

During Mid-September to mid-October, Rick & Wendy traveled with long-time friends to
Turkey, the Greek Islands and Greece in 2010.

Western, Eastern and Southern Africa in 6 Weeks in 2009

From February to mid-March 2009, Rick and I took our 2nd trip to Africa in six months.  Rick taught project management to TechnoServe staff in Ghana, Mozambique and Kenya. Wendy visited 8 clients around Accra, Ghana then worked in Nairobi with her prior team.  Our long-time friend Carolyn flew into Nairobi for her 2nd trip to Africa with us.  She and Wendy toured Central Kenya, then with Rick spent 2 weeks' in Namibia  traveling by 6-passenger plane and Land Rover for amazing adventures such as hunting with the San Bushmen of the Kalahari and climbing the red dunes of Namib-Naukluft Desert.
