TECHNOSERVE EL SALVADOR:
Visit to an Artisan Cheese Maker - 1 of Many Clients
We spent much of our time in the El Salvador TechnoServe
office understanding their well-run projects overall. But in the afternoon
we visited
a client who processed different kinds of cheese and some milk to sell both to
wholesale and in their own newly started retail kiosks.
TechnoServe has been working with this entrepreneur to upgrade his equipment,
raise sanitary conditions and procedures,
better train staff, and find new markets.

we dressed in sterilized caps, gowns, masks and boots. |
(Above & Row Below) After we enter the cheese
factory, we see various pieces of equipment
used for different cheeses
at different ages and stages. |
